Become an Accredited BMXA Officials Course Presenter and Skills Assessor

What is expected of me as a Presenter and Assessor?

  • Provide details of your availability for Officiating Courses in your State to allow Officiating Course dates to be set.
  • Maintain your Officials accreditation (and its pre-requisites).
  • Maintain your BMX Australia membership
  • Attendance as required at updating workshops and BMX Australia Officials education
  • Be willing to travel to present Courses and perform post-Course practical assessments.
  • Maintain and wear provided Presenter/Assessor clothing
  • Be a positive representative of BMX Australia.

Presenter and Assessor Requirements

  1. Current Member of BMX.
  2. Accredited BMXA Level 3 or ENC Official. Level 2 Officials with extensive experience may be considered suitable.
  3. Officiating experience at the National level.
  4. Presenter and Assessor Training Qualifications (see list below for acceptable qualifications)
  5. State/ Territory Background Check (Working with Children Check).

Desirable: 2-3years involvement with a BMXA State Organisation or BMXA.

Acceptable Presenter and Assessor Training

  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
  • ASC assessor/presenter
  • Teaching qualification
  • State sport and recreation assessor/presenter course
