Equipment needed to participate

Some clubs do have requisite equipment available, however it is best to be prepared with the following items:

  • Long pants or track pants that are fitted at the ankle
  • Long sleeve top or race jersey that is fitted at the wrist
  • Any type of gloves that have complete hand and finger protection
  • An Australian standard approved helmet. Some clubs will have spares you can borrow.
  • Fully enclosed shoes to protect your feet

If participants enjoy their time on track, they can sign up as a member with their club on the spot (bring DOB ID just in case you want to do this), choosing from our range of membership options that cater for everyone from club riders, through to those hoping to one day make a career as a BMX athlete.

If your club would like to hold a Ride In 2 BMX Day, log into your club OSM page for more information on how to apply. For any further information, please email: development@bmxaustralia.com.au
