TEAM AUS REGISTRATION
All riders will need to attend registration to pick up their bike stickers and UCI race plates. Registration will be held on Monday, 21 July from 5pm – 8pm in the Conrad Suite at the Hilton Rotterdam, Weena 10, 3012 CMRotterdam.
TEAM AUS APPAREL
TeamAUS apparel must be worn during training and competition. This includes your team polo, jersey and cap.
FOOD & DRINK AT AHOY ROTTERDAM
Riders and spectators are unable to bring food and drinks into Ahoy Rotterdam and must purchase food and drink on site from the caterers/vendors. We are waiting to hear from BMX Holland about the menu items available, and will notify riders once we receive this information.
PIT AREA – PARENT ACCESS
Non accredited people will not be allowed to enter the team area, including parents. There will be a parent zone, where parents can see their children on the way to pre -staging. This will be situated in Ahoy nearby the team area, see venue map.
RIDER TICKETS
Challenge, Cruiser and Master riders havefree access to the grandstands on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If the riders like they can purchase a weekend ticket on the website to see the Elite race onSaturday and Sunday. Note: All Challenge prize giving ceremonies will take place on Friday, 25 July. Prize giving ceremonies for Masters will take place together with Junior and Elite classes on Saturday, 26 July.
BIKE STORAGE
There will not be separate bike storage atthe World Championships. Bikes can only be left in the Pit area on the days that you are racing only. There will be a bike parking outside Ahoy where you can park your bike here at own risk.

BIKE STICKERS
Riders will get a bracelet and a matching sticker to put on the bike. It is important that the sticker is applied in a correct way to be able to scan the bike. It is important that the sticker is not curved on the frame. Bike Stickers can be collected at the TeamAUS rego.
RACE PLATES
Each bicycle entered into competition must have a number plate attached to the front of the handlebars. This number plate will be provided by the UCI and the organiser.
During the 2014 UCI BMX World Championships the rider must display a lateral number plate/sticker located just behind the steertube. The UCI and the organiser will provide a lateral plate for the 2014 UCIBMX World Championships. A rider who fails to display the correct number will not be scored. The area of the plate that provides a background for the number must,during the entire duration of a competition, be kept free of markings, stickersor other impediments to the number’s legibility. Riders may not cut, mutilateor put additional stickers or marking on their number plate during the 2014 UCIBMX World Championships.
Bike plates and side plates need to be on thebike before practise. Race Plates are to be collected at the TeamAUS registration.
SPECTATOR TICKETS

TEAM AREA IN VENUE
Each country will have a dedicated team (pit) area. Due to the limited space in the team area, only riders who have acompetition that day will be able to enter the team area with their bike.
TRAINING/PRACTICE GROUPS
The UCI will advise all competing nations oftheir training/practice groups once all nations have registered their riders through the UCI entry system. Accordingly, BMX Australia will advise all riders of the allocated times.
BIKE SUPPORT
Riders should bring all their spare parts and tools to be self sufficient at the race.
AWARDS CEREMONIES
All Challenge prize giving ceremonies willtake place on Friday 25th July. Prize giving ceremonies for Masters will take place together with Junior and Elite classes on Saturday 26th July.
Riders will be required to wear their racing gear for the presentations.
If a rider is unable to attend the prize giving ceremonies due to travel reasons, please notify the Team Manager at the event. The Team Manager will only collect any prizes for riders that have notified the Team Manager of their non-attendance and these will be sent to the rider when back in Australia.
LICENCE
If you are a Challenge or Master’s classrider, you will not require an UCI International Licence. You will only require a valid BMX Australia Open or Sprocket licence.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is important to note that your BMX Australia membership’s insurance is not valid overseas and you will not be insured while riding on the BMX track. For this reason, BMX Australia recommends each rider take out Cycling Australia’s International Travel Insurance. Click here for more information.
Riders are more than welcome to take out personal travel insurance, however please check your travel insurance company’s PDS information to see if you are insured while riding/racing on the BMX track.Most personal travel insurance companies will not insure you for this.

From the direction Dordrecht/Gorinchem
On the A16/A15 direction Rotterdam, follow the A15 direction Europoort. On the intersection Vaanplein, take the exit Zuidplein/Ahoy. You are now on the Vaanweg. Follow the signs to reach Ahoy Rotterdam.
From the direction Utrecht
On the A20 direction Rotterdam, when reaching the intersection Terbregseplein,take the A16 direction Dordrecht. After the Van Brienenoord bridge, follow the A15 direction Europoort. From there, please refer to the itinerary above forDordrecht.
From direction Hoek van Holland
On the A20 direction Utrecht, take the A4 direction ‘Ring Rotterdam (Zuid)’ when reaching the intersection Kethelplein. After the Benelux Tunnel at theintersection Beneluxplein, take the A15 direction Nijmegen. On the intersectionVaanplein, take the exit Zuidplein/Ahoy. You are now on the Vaanweg. Follow thesigns to reach Ahoy Rotterdam.
From the direction Roosendaal/Zierikzee
At the end of the A29 (intersection Vaanplein), drive on following thedirection Zuidplein/Ahoy. From there, please refer to the itinerary above forDordrecht.
Traveling by public transportation
At Rotterdam Central Station, take the subway (Metro) direction Spijkenisse or direction Slinge. Get off at the stop Zuidplein. From here, it will take you approximately 5 minutes to walk to Ahoy.

ACCESS FOR BMX BIKES ON METRO
BMX Holland have advised that there will berestrictions for travel with BMX bikes on the Metro as noted below:
Monday till Friday
No BMX bikes allowed before 9.00
No BMX bikes allowed from 16.00 – 18.30 (outside these times its allowed totake your BMX bike)
Saturday and Sunday
BMX bikes allowed
Travel outside these times is fine with your BMX bike. There will be a bike parking outside Ahoy where you can park your bike here at own risk.
