Entries have opened for the BMX Queensland ‘Aussie Assault’, which will take place at the Sleeman Sports Complex just days before the 2017 BMX Australia National Championships.

With the nationals week beginning on Monday April 24, the Aussie Assault will take place just two days prior on Saturday April 22. The event will give riders a chance to take on the challenging Sleeman track in anger prior to nationals.

The Queensland-run event will see participants race over three motos (no finals), with participation prizes awarded after two motos. The day will cater for riders in Sprocket and Mini Wheeler, Age/Cruiser, Superclass (14+), Masterclass (30+) and Second Class.

Nominations for the event will be done online only, with entries closing at 5pm (AEST) on Thursday April 20. The event will be run according to the ARA 2017 Rule Book.

The 2017 Aussie Assault will begin with a warm up at 11am AEST, followed by racing at 1pm AEST. CLICK HERE to enter.
