Nearly 100 hours of driving, the Woodies must really love their BMX!

With our 2018 National Championships at Bunbury BMX Club very much around the corner (March 19), BMX families from all around Australia are making the trip across to the biggest event on our calendar.

Over 1,000 riders and their supportive families are making the trip, whether it be by plane or car and the excitement on social media is palpable.

One story in particular we have come across are the Woodies from Mount Isa BMX Club, who love traveling for their BMX and the opportunity for a family road trip.

Normally, the Woodies travel around 900km’s to visit their neighbouring club, Townsville. But this time they are heading to Bunbury which is over 3,500km’s away and amasses to 46 hours of driving one way.

Check out the full story below from BMX Queensland.
