Jack Davis

‘Hells Bells is one of my favourite songs to train to because for a long time BMX NSW has played the song before finals at races. So I like to throw it on before a big set in the gym, my last sprint or track effort to create that same environment for myself.’

  1. We Own It – by 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa
  2. Hells Bells – by AC/DC
  3. Come As You Are – by Nirvana
  4. No Romance – by 16yrold and KILLY
  5. Crazy Train – by Ozzy Osbourne

Corey Taylor

  1. Leave a Light On – by Tom Walker
I like the singers voice in the chorus and I also like the lyrics and how they say that there is always someone there for you.
  2. Boulevard of Broken Dreams – by Green Day
This song can relate to my BMX career and living in the country and not having access to the best facilities.
  3. Bella Ciao – by Manu Pilas
This song has a good beat and always puts me in a happy mood.
  4. ROADS UNTRAVELED – by Linkin Park
This song is one of my favourite songs to listen to whilst training.
  5. I Won’t Back Down – by Johnny Cash
I like a good variety in my playlist. This song is one of my favourite country songs.

Shannon Petre

I think these are some of my favourite songs and artists over the last year or so. I also like music that is a little less mainstream and I think a lot of my taste in music was influenced by my dad.

  1. Warm Coffee – by Ziggy Alberts
It’s been my favourite song for years and the lyrics and story behind it are cool.
  2. Waterslides – by Tropical Zombie
I found this song from a surf film.
  3. Everlong (acoustic version) – by Foo Fighters
  4. Back in Our Day – by Shag Rock
  5. Midnight Eyes – by Skegss

Oli Moran

I’m really not much of a music guy. I listen to anything really, depending on the situation or mood I’m in.

Skegss would have to be my favourite band. All Skegss songs could be in my top 5 but I just added some of my favourite go to songs to sing along with in the car or when I’m just chilling out.

  1. Up in the Clouds – by Skegg
  2. Burnout – by The Lulu Raes
  3. Amsterdam – by Nothing but Thieves
  4. I Wanna Be Everybody – by Hockey Dad
  5. Banquet – by Bloc Party

Jordan Callum

No particular reason to those 5 songs, I don’t usually listen to a lot of music on a race day. These 5 have been the songs I’ve been listening to through my training sessions over the past 6 months or so!

Can always count on these 5 to lift that extra 5 or 10 kgs 💪🏼💪🏼

  1. This is My World  by Meddemssiri
  2. Gave ‘em Hope by Baskem
  3. Runnin’ by David Dallas
  4. Worth Dying for by Rise Against
  5. Don’t waste my time by Krept & Konan

Tom Tucker

These are some of my favourite songs at the moment. I don’t have any specific genre I like, it just depends on the song and the mood I’m in.

Pump it up would be one of my favourites to listen to while training or before a race. Like it says in the title, it pumps you up.

  1. Happier by Marshmello & Bastille
  2. Young, Dumb & Broke by Khalid
  3. Bad Guy by Billie Eilish
  4. Knockin Boots by Luke Bryan
  5. Everyday by Logic & Marshmello

Josh McLean

I’m not big on music and can kind of listen to anything. These 5 songs are a bit of a mix of what I would listen to while I’m driving in the car, at gym or even before a race.

  1. Pump it Up by Endor
  2. Chill Bill by Rob $ton, J. Davi$ & Spooks
  3. Cooler than Me by Mike Posner & Big Sean
  4. Fireball by Pitball & John Ryan
  5. Devil Eyes by Hippie Sabotage
