The first weekend of BMX in March has kicked off to a flyer with the ACT Championships and more all wrapped up.
The ACT BMX Championships was two days of non-stop action as Saturday and Sunday had a total of 469 entries producing outstanding results.
Saturday, March 3, is known as the pre event for the Championships and is an opportunity for riders to not only get a good feel for the track. But to also get the low down on how the other competitors are faring.
Winning every single one of your races on both days is a tremendous achievement and that’s what these riders did. Superclass riders, Andrew Hughes (LMX BMX Club) and Leanna Curtis (Southlake BMX Club) were unstoppable as well as Courtney Oostendorp (Ashmore BMX Club), Isla Basa (Macarthur BMX Club), Joshua Jolly (Knox BMX Club) and David Comport (Lilydale BMX).
Working hard on her rehab and road to recovery, Caroline Buchanan made an appearance to give support to those riders on the track. Check out her post below.
