BMX riders have been getting creative at home to keep their mind and body active without having to venture out of the home.

In times like these it’s more important than ever to not only stay home, but also to keep fit and healthy by exercising within the government guidelines.

It’s important to know you can still jump on your bike and go for a ride for exercise as long as you follow the laws and guidelines in your area, whether that’s down to the local shops, on your driveway or on a stationary bike in your lounge room.

Some BMX athletes across the world have used this time to get creative in their training and have a little fun along the way!

Caroline Buchanan has shared her self-isolation workouts with her thousands of followers, making use of the limited space at home.

BMX Australia’s national coaching manager Luke Madill, took self-isolation indoor training to a whole new level, jumping on his indoor spin bike in full BMX attire and pretended to race as Niek Kimmann.

You can check out Buchanan and Madill’s posts below, as well as many other BMX athletes from Australia and around world, who have gotten creative during isolation.

Make sure to tag us on Facebook/Instagram or Twitter in your isolation workouts and creative methods you’ve been using in order to stay fit and healthy. We might just share it with the rest of the #BMXAfamily.

Lots of riders accepted Buchanan’s challenge and had a shot at her workout 🤙
