The fourth stage of the 2019 BMXA BAD BOY National Series at Satellite City had many riders battling it out for a top spot and although many found the podium, their thirst for BMX wasn’t quenched, so what better way to spend their Sunday than with MORE BMX racing!

A total of 138 entries were recorded at the Jingili on Sunday June 30 and many riders backed up their performance from the night before to take their respective classes.

First out of the gate is Zane Henderson, who finished second in the 12-boy’s at Sat City and raced the next day to win the division 1 junior class in style. The Nhulunbuy rider went on to take out the junior time trial as well, clocking his fastest lap at 33.968 seconds.

Harley Bradshaw from the Sydney BMX Club enjoyed the national series racing so much after comprehensively winning his 8-boy’s class, he did it again in the division 2 junior class the next day.

South Australia’s Matthew Tidswell has been in phenomenal form of late. The 2019 junior elite men’s national champion clean swept his opponents at Sat City on his way to claiming the UCI national series title and didn’t stop there, making the most of his time in the NT to race in the division 1 senior class the next day.

That podium saw Tidswell ahead of Happy Valley’s Jayden Fox and Nerang’s Kane Gibbons.

The Cove rider also clocked the fastest lap for the day in the senior time trial, finishing his lap with a blistering 28.708 seconds.

The results from the division 2 senior class saw another rider score victory on two straight days. After claiming the UCI junior elite women’s event on Saturday and subsequently the national series title, Kiana Botfield, from Pine Rivers, found the top spot on the podium again, beating home Jingili’s Yasmin Ford and Nhulunbuy’s Matthew Winter.
