Elite riders have two more sessions available to them in which to train in front of Cycling Australia Technical Director – BMX, Wade Bootes.

Australian riders hopeful of riding at this year’s UCI BMX World Championships have recently been offered opportunities to test under the supervision of Cycling Australia Technical Director – BMX, Wade Bootes at the Sleeman Sports Complex in Brisbane, and there are just two more dates for testing remaining.

The final two days of testing will take place on March 2-3. Times for these sessions are below:

Friday March 2

  • 3:30-4:30pm: Peak power output
  • 4:30pm-5:30pm: SX track assessment
  • 5:30pm-6:30pm: SX gate starts (Own transponder required/ensure MyLaps subscription is current)

Saturday March 3

  • 9am-10am: Peak power output (for those that did not complete on Friday March 2)
  • 10am-11am: SX track assessment
  • 11am-12pm: SX gate starts and 2x full laps (Own transponder required)
