The gates of BMXA’s 2020 National Championships and National Series are awaiting riders, as entries officially opened on December 1.

Whether you’re competing on the elite stage, launching your first year on a BMX bike, or a committed member in the 50+ age category, the national championships and the national series are events for all riders and all abilities.

Enter one, enter them all, or anything in between!

Our first event of the year kicks off at the Shepparton BMX Club on January 31 for round 1 of the national series. The BMXA event will be followed by the first two rounds of the 2020 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup, which is a not to be missed event!

Next stop on the #BMXANS train is round 2 at the Nerang BMX Club on February 29. Join us on the Gold Coast for a one-day spectacular.

 After Nerang, we put a pause on the series to launch the biggest BMXA event on the 2020 calendar. The national championships at the Launceston BMX Club will house riders from all around the country and play host to some of the biggest names on the BMXA circuit.

Join the likes of dual-Olympian Caroline Buchanan and a whole host of stars as they prepare to launch their assault on the world championships taking place in Houston, USA.

Accompanying nationals week is also the 2020 Oceania Continental Championships attracting riders from across the Tasman to continue the fierce Aussie/Kiwi rivalry.

Back on the national series train, round 3 heads to the nation’s capital at the Canberra BMX Club on Saturday, April 25 and joining in on celebrating the Anzac Day weekend is the ACT State Titles the next day!

Grab valuable national series points + pick up an ACT plate in one go.

Another pause is put on the national series while #TeamAUSBMX launches their worlds campaign on May 23, followed by the biggest sporting show on earth, the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, in late July.

The national series recommences at the Lake Macquarie BMX Club in NSW on August 8 and the penultimate round of the series will be a perfect opportunity to add valuable last-minute points.

 The finale of the series takes us to South Australia’s The Cove BMX Club on October 24 and tensions will run high as riders battle it out for national series success.

 REMEMBER – The #BMXANats20 and #BMXANS are open to all members of all ages and abilities. Be a part of a fantastic atmosphere and turn up in your state’s round or an event just down the road for an epic showcase of national talent.
