With a return to the track for us all even closer, now is a great time to start preparing for BMX racing again so you can be ready to hit the ground running.

From a timing and scoring perspective there are a few things that clubs can do now before the track opens to check your timing system is operating as it should.

Are all the loops working OK? Is there any noise on the line? Are the decoders operating correctly? Is your network setup correctly?

In terms of software some clubs, states, territories in Australia are now using Sqorz. If your respective club is utilising the Sqorz software, it’s a good time to open up Sqorz, download the latest update and have a click around. You may want to review your series settings or make some class amendments.

If your registrar or anyone else wants a refresher course on Sqorz and maybe a deeper dive into some of the amazing functionality then don’t hesitate to get in touch with Martin Ward or Yuki Sakakibara on or text/call 0414818450. They can line up a time and help you with the features you are interested in.

If you would like to understand more about Sqorz then get in touch with Martin or Yuki and arrange for a demo. Some of the features are:

  • Series points are available immediately a race is completed
