Round 1 of the 2018 BMX Australia National Series kicks off this weekend at the Penrith BMX Club, and providing the images for the weekend are the team from LUXBMX/RACE.

It’s a big weekend for the brand, as they also debut the Chase/LUXBMX race team, who are new on the scene and are packing a punch with budding BMX riders Max Cairns, Izaac Kennedy, Ashlee Miller, Shannon Petre, Dean Patch, Wade Turner, Phoebe Wallen and youngster Harvey Brooks.

Across the weekend the guys behind the lens will be snapping a selection of highlights of the racing, which will be posted to an online gallery at www.bmxaustralia.com.au following the event.

The photo gallery will be just one part of a big weekend of action, which will be covered by previews, track breakdowns and highlights of all the racing, race reports and key editorial.

Find these on the BMX Australia website and social media channels and especially don’t miss the best pics in the LUXBMX/RACE BMXA National Series Round 1 Photo Gallery!

On track events this weekend begin with practice sessions from 12pm AEDT on Saturday February 17, with motos one and two for all except championship classes running from 4pm AEDT.

Sunday will see championship classes hit the track for the first time, while all other classes commence with moto three from 9:15am AEDT. Qualifiers commence from 10:30am AEDT, while gates will drop for finals from 11:45am AEDT.
