Almost 600 Aussie BMX riders will descend on the Nerang BMX Club this weekend as the 2018 BMX Australia National Series crosses the halfway point. With riders of all ages and abilities on track, it will be Angie Meares behind the lens and photographing those exciting moments of riders throughout the weekend.

Meares is no stranger to BMX and the top shooter has partnered with BMX Australia for this weekend’s event. The partnership continues a relationship between BMXA and Madb Photography, which has seen Meares on track at national series and national events in years gone by, either as an official photographer or accredited photographer.

In that time, she has captured some of the sport’s most memorable moments, including that infamous Joey Graham backflip from the 2017 National Championships at the Sleeman Sports Complex in Brisbane.

Individual shots of riders? No Worries for MadB Photography!

Passionate about BMX, Meares is no stranger to putting in the hard yards to perfect her craft. Just last weekend she attended the Round five the NSW State Series at Sawtell BMX Club, before turning around to drive 400 kilometres to attend the DK Bikes open day at Bayside BMX Club the next day.

In between were a few private photo shoots, making it a busy weekend Meares!

Come this Saturday and Sunday, Meares will be on track capturing the action across all classes and can be contacted via her Facebook page – MadB Photographyfor anyone eager to get an individual shot of their rider.

It’s also important to note, that those hoping to use any photos from the MadB Photography gallery should get in touch with Meares via her page, prior to doing so in order to ensure there is no breach of use.

MadB Photography’s partnership with BMX Australia will add to a big weekend of action in Nerang, with action from racing being captured for exciting video features, highlights packages and video replays. There will also be social media coverage across the weekend and written reports and online results.

Images from the weekend will be found on the social media pages of MadB Photography and BMXA.
