BMX Australia has put together the following guidelines for rebooting BMX racing, working within the AIS Framework for Rebooting Sport – the Federal Government’s action plan around sport.

The guidelines are recommendations that should be followed by BMX clubs and members around the country and used alongside the relevant State and Local Government directives in your location.

Some State and Local Governments may also require clubs to complete a ‘Return to Business’ or ‘Steps to Restart’ application before they can re-open tracks. Your State BMX organisation will be able to keep you informed of these requirements.

The overwhelming cooperation is needed from all members and families in operating within the guidelines and also continuing to adopt good personal hygiene practices. We’re all in this together!

Please download the COVIDSafe app and if you are sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay away from the track and follow medical advice.

The AIS Framework for Rebooting Sport has three levels to take us from the present through to full sporting activity. The level your club and state is on can vary from state to state and even club to club.
