January 2020 is well and truly underway and that means a lot of things are about to occur for the BMX community in Australia. Chief among them is the opening round of the BMXA National Series at Shepparton BMX Club on January 31 – ENTER NOW HERE!

Immediately following that on February 1 & 2 are the first two rounds of the 2020 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup and entries are closing soon!

As the entry date looms closer, many questions are beginning to arise on where to enter, how to enter, and what is required.

We hope this article breaks down those questions ensuring riders can focus on the world stage and competing against the best in the business.

Before diving into that stage, it is important to remember that UCI’s ruling states that if you compete in a world cup round, you MUST compete at championship classes (elite and junior elite) for the remainder of 2020’s UCI sanctioned events. E.g. BMXA’s national championships. For more on this – READ HERE
