It was a day that had everything, from rain and hail in the early morning to brilliant sunshine in the afternoon. Yet it was the windy conditions and the super shredders on track that remained a constant at the Cross Keys BMX Club for the fifth round of the 2018 BMXA National Series.

Over 300 riders were on show and the changing conditions didn’t faze them as they competed in the first two motos of the weekend. The smooth new surface at the BMX track in Adelaide was put to the test and came up trumps as it experienced 13-degree weather and red-hot riders.
This weekend marks the second round of superclass component of the national series and riders were eager to begin or continue their campaigns as the season’s finish line draws ever closer at Launceston, TAS on October 20.
Close to 150 South Australian riders hit the track, determined to show the rest of the country who’s boss on their home turf and the following riders couldn’t have started this round in better fashion.

All eyes will be eagerly anticipating action tomorrow when the gates drop from 10:15am ACST. Finals are expected to begin at 11:15am.
