Applications are now open for the 2021 Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship & Mentoring Program.
The Sport Australia Hall of Fame (SAHOF) Scholarship & Mentoring Program is a fantastic opportunity for under 21-year old elite athletes to receive support and mentoring from legends of Australian sport.
Launched in 2006, the program has seen more than 50 members as mentors providing the opportunity of a lifetime to 81 athletes across 36 sports.
Dual-Olympian Caroline Buchanan has been a recipient of this special scholarship and was mentored by elite athlete Robert de Castella AO MBE. Joining her is multiple national champion Aaron Nottle, who was mentored by hockey great, Liane Tooth OAM.

The Scholarship and Mentoring program are open to Australian junior athletes (U21) to apply and will provide encouragement and funding for approximately 12-14 months to help the successful applicant achieve at the highest level of their sport.

Application are now open for the 20201 program – closing midnight Sunday, August 2.
The 2021 SAHOF Scholarship & Mentoring Program has expanded to three Tiers which means; more Scholarships granted, greater financial support and an increase in Scholarship Recipients who will be Mentored by an Australian great – a SAHOF Member.

Unsuccessful recipients of Tier 1 and Tier 2 will be automatically considered for Tier 3.
