While riders from around Australia kicked off the 2019 BMXA BAD BOY National Series at the Sydney BMX Club over the weekend, an Australian pair at the USABMX Winter Nationals also got their share of the action.

On Friday and Saturday (February 15/16), South Australia’s Anthony Dean and Jayce Cunning from New South Wales competed against USA riders and got the job done with a place on the podium, one of them found it twice!

Competing in the A Pro class, Cunning went bar for bar with some of the best USA riders and came out on top going back-to-back on both days!

For Dean, a clean third place on the podium Friday unfortunately couldn’t be repeated the next day and in the end, settled for seventh.

These Aussie shredders did the BMXA family proud and their efforts should be recognised.

Nice going guys!
